This item was purchased new from our store initially but saw little to no run time, as the owner passed away before he could use it. All the foam and plastic inserts are present. The top foam appears to be from another Broadway locomotive, but it securely holds the locomotive in the box. There do not appear to be any parts broken off the locomotive, and it runs beautifully and sounds amazing. Please look at the provided pictures and video to help you make your final decision.

Warranty: There is no manufacturer warranty. However, RJ’s Trains wants to ensure that our customers feel confident in their purchase with us and will warranty the item for defects for 30 days. Additionally, if there is something wrong that was not mentioned in the description or not noticeable in the photos, we will take care of you. What we won’t warranty is neglect or abuse.

Broadway Limited Information:
General Electric introduced the first “Dash” line of diesels with the C30-7. Equipped with a 3,000 hp 16-cylinder diesel, it quickly found favor with several railroads and became a success for General Electric. The C30-7s are still in service today, though several have found their way to leasing companies from their first owners.

The early production units had four windows on each side of the cab, but rules in 1980 for making windows “projectile resistant” eliminated the outer windows in later production and those same windows were filled in with sheet metal on the early units.
